So you can make the most of your vacation, all our courses include online theory. Once you have booked your course, you will receive an email from SSI with a personalized link to your digital manual. Try Dive
The simplest and safest method to approach the underwater world is the Try Dive. Diving is something that anyone can do in a safe and fun way, thanks to the experience of a certified instructor who will accompany you by the hand and so you too can be a diver for a day!
After a brief but detailed theoretical and practical explanation, you will be ready to live this wonderful experience.
Breathing underwater for the first time, feeling the thrill of weightlessness, floating freely among the submerged fauna and flora, are just some of the sensations that will fascinate you!
The activity is done outside the Marine Reserve by boat, so it includes a boat ride of about 20 minutes in the waters of the Sea of Las Calmas.

Open Water
This program, which gives you an internationally recognized certification, is ideal to start your adventures as a certified diver. The combination of personalized training with practical in-water sessions ensures that you will have the skills and experience necessary to dive comfortably underwater.
This course provides students with the knowledge and training necessary to dive autonomously with a buddy of equal or higher qualification, in environments equivalent to your training and in depths less than 18 meters, and anywhere in the world.
The course consists of a theoretical part, confined water training and 4 open water dives. You can start the theory training at any time, from anywhere and at your own pace. This gives you more free time during your vacation. SSI takes full advantage of digital technology to make your learning experience as easy as possible.
During confined water training sessions, your SSI Instructor will help you develop all the necessary skills in a controlled environment so you’re comfortable and feel ready to dive in open water. On open water training dives, you’ll apply the skills and knowledge you’ve learned in a real-world environment under the supervision of your instructor.
The course can be completed in as little as 3 days, although we recommend leaving an extra day for further exploration and confidence building, or simply for any contingency.

Advanced Adventurer
If you’re having trouble deciding which specialty programs are the best choice for you, join SSI’s Advanced Adventurer program! This program allows you to try a variety of specialties before enrolling in full specialty programs.
During the Advanced Adventurer program, you will try out 5 different specialties. For each specialty you choose, you will do a full briefing with your SSI instructor and then do a training dive, with emphasis on gaining more experience in the water under the supervision of your instructor. This program will allow you to take full specialty programs at any time and credit your training as an Advanced Adventurer during enrollment. With the Advanced level you will be qualified to dive to a depth of 30 meters.
There are 5 dives you must complete to obtain your certification. Perfect Buoyancy, Navigation and Depp Diving are mandatory, the other 2 are your choice. Dives you can choose from include: Night & Limited Visibility, Boat Diving, Waves, Tides & Currents, Search & Recovery.
You can combine it with the Enriched Air Course or Deep Dive Specialty.

Enriched Air Nitrox
The NITROX course is one of the most popular specialty courses in the world and it’s easy to understand why. This course allows you to learn the techniques that will enable you to dive longer without decompression. As a Nitrox Diver, you’ll be able to increase your bottom times and safety limits, as well as reduce surface intervals, so you can spend more time diving and less time waiting. It means you can have a lot more fun, especially on repetitive dives. It can be done with or without dives, as the keys to this course are the practical applications prior to the dive.
You will learn how to plan and dive safely with enriched air mixtures up to 40% oxygen.

Deep Diving
If you want to reach 40 meters deep (the limits of recreational diving), the Deep Diver Course is what you are looking for.
With SSI’s Deep Diver Specialty you will learn everything you need to dive between 18 and 40 meters deep through a combination of academic sessions and open water dives,and most importantly the skills and knowledge required to explore the depths.. and maybe even a wreck! You will learn how to plan and complete deep dives safely, you will discover the limits of no-decompression diving. Number of open water dives 3.
This SSI specialty is a prerequisite for some of the advanced dive programs, making it the most recommended next step in your dive training.

STRESS & RESCUE
The PADI Rescue Diver course has often been described as the most challenging, yet most fun course. With SSI’s Diver Stress & Rescue specialty program, you’ll learn the skills necessary to safeguard yourself and your buddies. This course provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary to identify stress, prevent incidents and respond to the most common emergency situations among recreational divers.
It will convey the diver’s sense of responsibility towards himself and his dive buddies, anticipating possible dangerous situations.
The basic fundamentals of the course are:
- Self-rescue
- Recognizing and managing stress in other divers
- Emergency management and equipment
- Rescuing a panicked diver
- Rescue of an unconscious diver

REACT RIGHT
React Right is SSI’s first aid and emergency course: it gives you the training and knowledge you need to act as a first responder in the event of a medical emergency.
This program, which combines academic sessions and hands-on training scenarios, gives you the tools and confidence you need to act correctly. When you earn your certification, you will be able to respond and administer first aid, CPR and oxygen.
SSI’s React Right certification qualifies the holder to act as a first responder in medical emergencies appropriate to their training for a period of two years after the date of certification issuance.

DIVEMASTER
The SSI Divemaster certification recognizes candidates who have the knowledge and training necessary to perform the responsibilities of a certified assistant.
These responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting SSI Instructors with conducting entry-level dive training and continuing education programs, as well as planning and guiding dives.
